About Me

Grammar is hard. And most people never receive the proper instruction for it. We're thrown into school with a working knowledge and seldom educated past that. I know this is a dry subject--and that makes me sad. Language is a living, breathing organism, and grammar keeps it going as much as changing vernacular does. The structure of the words we read and speak every day should be fun and exciting. And that's what I'm trying to do here. I am not an authority, and I post as I learn. Please let me know if you catch a mistake.

A few fun facts about me:

  • I'm annoyingly young enough to refuse to state my age.
  • I've completed two books. No, they haven't seen the light of day yet.
  • I'm history enthusiast and a fencer (saber and foil).
  • Most of my knowledge is either self-taught or comes from professionals whose blogs I cyber-stalk.
  • I don't eat peanut butter.
